Changing your Password

Overview

Your password is used to access your online Account Dashboard on our website. It is also used to log in and connect to our secure VPN network on all of your various devices.

It is important to change your password if you feel it’s been compromised, or if you think someone has gained access to your account without your knowledge.


Changing your Password

We recommend changing all of your online passwords on a regular basis. The following instructions assume that you already know your current password and are able to access to your account.

If you don’t know your existing password, you will need to Reset your Password first. See our support article for more information.

How to Change your VirtualShield Password:

Start by visiting your Account Dashboard. Select Settings from the navigation menu, or use the link below:

If you forgot your password, you can use this link to reset your password. See our support article for more information.

In the Security section on the right, press the Change Password button.

A popup message will appear, prompting you to enter your old password as well as a new one.

Don’t forget to use a combination of numbers, letters, and symbols to ensure a strong password!

Common Questions

My password is not working, what can I do?
Try to Reset your Password first. If that doesn’t work, contact our support team for further assistance.
I still can’t access my account, what now?
Contact our support team and we will send you a new system-generated password, once you have verified you are the account owner.
