What can I do if I think I've been breached?


If you think that your data has been breached, don't be alarmed. Our Identity Restoration Team is here to assist you. If identity theft does happen, we handle the entire recovery process for you.

In the event that your information appears compromised, we will put a flag in your Dashboard along with instructions on how to protect yourself.

Manual Recovery

Alerts will be sent to your email address or phone, depending on your personal preference. If you receive an email or SMS alert from our system, the first thing we recommend is logging in to your IdentiSafe Dashboard to confirm the alert is authentic.


Start by logging in to your online Account Dashboard.

This feature is only available with our VPN Plus or VS One plans. If you have a basic VPN subscription, some of the relevant options may not appear.

Choose Identity Security from the main menu and activate your protection, if you have not done so already.

Press the Manage IdentiSafe button. You will be redirected to your IdentiSafe Dashboard.

This is where you can monitor and track your Credit Score, set up SMS Text Alerts, and more.

Select the Alerts tab. You can manage your alerts and notifications here. Severe alerts will be highlighted red.

If your information appears to be compromised, follow the steps provided in the alert to begin recovering your identity.

Do I need to download an app?
No, you don't need to install any additional software on your device. You can access your Account Dashboard from any computer, phone, or tablet with internet access. Once you enter your information, no further action is required.
